Drew Ginsburg , is not your typical cast member of Bravo s Most Eligible Dallas . Some may call him Bravo’s newest villain, but I found that he was more like a big, lovable teddy bear. A core cast mate yes, but first and foremost a son, big brother, friend, and a successful memorial city mall stores businessman. Drew is a proud gay man, that loves his family and prefers cars to couture.
He works in his family business, The Boardwalk Auto Group , which controls memorial city mall stores 10 car dealerships throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and in San Francisco. I learned Drew was opinionated, memorial city mall stores funny, and charitable when I sat down for our no-holds-barred interview. We discussed the HCG diet, his cast members, his family, and what he s passionate about. Drew and his mother made the trek to Southlake for our interview. We’ve bumped into each other on the Dallas charity circuit, and I have been dying to get the scoop on his world, work and what makes Drew one of most talked about cast members of the Most Eligible Dallas Team. Once we got our schedules together, it was fun to roll out the “green carpet of suburbia” for Drew, who has never been to Southlake. He thought that this town was on the other side of the world. Ironically, Southlake is only a short trip from Dallas , but it is a well kept, open secret by the locals.
Lights, camera, action!!! The genius team at Toni and Guy , who have been doing my makeup and hair for four years, set to work on Bravo’s newest star. Drew didn’t know what hit him, as we were on a time crunch as real life was threatening to approach; Drew needed to be back in Dallas and a tiny little boy, my darling Sebastian, was coming to visit his mommy on set. We settled on touring Southlake and then enjoying lunch and conversation before being whisked back into the rest of our day.
It seems that everyone wants Bravo to bring the Real Housewives franchise to their town, but he noted that we should “be careful what you wish for ladies”. For him, Drew got a wonderful opportunity that he would not trade, but it came with the high price of with having your life exposed, 20-hour work days, lots of late night eating, and a reoccurring lack of sleep.
I had the pleasure of chatting with Drew while walking around, memorial city mall stores touring my town. We started with a delicious brunch at Brio s , shopping at Malouf s , and we finally memorial city mall stores settled at the Southlake Hilton for our interview. This looks like a place you would only dream about, or see in those movies. Everyone and everything is perfectly placed. People who come here would never want to need to leave. Where is the homeless man on the side of the road?” he shouted, to stares of curious on-lookers and passers-by.
Personally, I loved his tactful honesty. We spoke about that dirty word he used on the show , however his mother openly supports her son in the matter. He warned me on what was coming, and the cameras have been hard to deal with, but I deeply love and support my son. I am so proud of him and the direction he is moving in. If you haven t had a chance to catch Drew in action Bravo will be playing a marathon before the season finale on Monday night. I explained to Drew that no dirty words are allowed or we would swap roles — he would be detained in the suburbs forever memorial city mall stores and I would run the Audi dealerships. Drew laughed and agreed to be on his best behavior.
Drew: “The backlash has been minimal but there is some; with success also comes the haters. The funny thing is that people hate on the show, but in the same sentence they will say, I was asked to do the show but turned it down. Some people just don’t know how to say congratulations.”
Drew: “The only person I did not know was Neil, and the cameras captured ou
